Great Room Fireplace Renovation
This sweet family wanted a change to the dark red brick fireplace and blank wall above the 90’s wood mantle. They wanted focal point that would accentuate the gorgeous high ceilings, eliminate the raised brick hearth as well as create a clean modern look. The entire old façade was removed and replaced with a built out box fully trimmed with beautiful millwork on all sides leaving enough room to feature artwork. A sleek yet slightly rustic mantle was added and we picked a glossy herringbone marble tile around the fireplace box. on the floor the raised hearth was replaced with a beautiful custom Carrera marble slab.
